We've had such a lovely meal, that we had to book a table for our return trip to Nelson. Our favourites; Lamb Rogon josh is just excellent, and the dahl is voted to be the best we've ever had! Just great with a naan or roti. |

We come down to Nelson each year for the Top of the South Bodybuilding competition. We would like to thank you for your hospitality and excellent food and service. It was nice that Denise acknowledged that she remembered us.

Absolutely delightful meal, hot and with just the right amount of curry. My wife tried one of the paratha's & really enjoyed it, while I was less adventurous & opted for what I had last time, the platter made up of 4 different curries and rice. Very good value too. We'll be back. - David Leggott,

WOW! The food was incredible. The flavours and colours were spectacular. By far the best Indian experience in New Zealand!

This is a must to dine at.
The expectations were all met for a wonderful dinning experience.
Staff were pleasant and extremly helpful with their explanation of the menu. Great ambiance and very comfortable
I recommend this as a good experience.
Well done to this establishment.
Have recommended this restaurant to friends who live in Nelson. We will certainly frequent this establishment again.

I recently visited Nelson and heard via family that this Indian Restaurant was "the place to eat!" What a beautiful and inviting menu. After great indecision I finally chose a dish as did my daughter and her partner which gave us a delicious selection to taste. I can say with great confidence "the food was just fabulous". So go treat yourself with great food, service and ambiance!!!!

By any test, surroundings and service are excellent. The food, although toned down for Kiwi palates, is tasty, filling and well priced. And as we leave with a doggy bag tucked under my arm, I marvel that lunch the next day is also included...
